You photograph a page of your child's schoolwork. We read it, work out what skill it's practising, and write 6 brand-new questions on the same material at the same level. Your child answers them, we mark them instantly, and every correct answer earns minutes in a game inside the app.

Math, spelling, vocabulary, grammar, reading, science, social studies and world languages. You don't pick — we read the page and work it out, and you can correct us afterwards if we get it wrong.

No — that would be pointless. It writes new problems with different numbers and different details, testing the same skill. If your child memorised the answers on the worksheet, they'd still have to actually do these.

We'd rather say "we couldn't read this" than guess. If the page is unclear, badly lit, or not schoolwork, you get a retake prompt with some tips — and that attempt doesn't count against your scans.

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. The questions are written by an AI reading a photograph, and it can get things wrong — a mis-levelled question, occasionally a wrong answer. Please look over the questions, especially for younger children. Questaroo is practice alongside school, not a replacement for a teacher.

Tell us and we'll fix it. We already accept a lot of variation — 0.5, .5 and 1/2 all count as the same number, and word answers ignore capitals, accents and punctuation. But spelling questions are strict on purpose: a spelling test where the misspelling passes isn't a spelling test.

A nickname and a grade level. That's it. We never ask for a full name, birthday, school, address or photograph — and you shouldn't type them in either.

They're deleted within seconds, as soon as the questions have been written — and on every failure path too. We keep the questions, not the page.

No. Your uploads aren't used to train models, and our AI provider is engaged on terms that don't permit it.

No. There's one adult account, and children play on your device under your supervision. They're never asked for personal information.

Not yet — Questaroo runs in your browser. On a phone you can add it to your home screen and it behaves much like an app.

No, and it never will. Questaroo only manages time inside its own games. It doesn't touch your device settings or anything else your child uses.

Yes — that's yours to set, per child, from 1 to 10 minutes per correct answer, with a daily ceiling. Change it any time in the child's settings.

That's how it's meant to work — the timer stops at zero. More schoolwork earns more minutes.
